Backend Development Track

You’ll build real server-side logic. Over 8 weeks, you’ll create APIs, connect databases, and integrate features. You’ll write and document endpoints, handle data flow, and support frontend devs. Projects are based on product types currently in demand—payments, healthtech, AI-driven tools.

You’ll work with frameworks like Node.js, Express, or Django, and use PostgreSQL or MongoDB. Python and GitHub will be part of your daily tools, along with Copilot and ChatGPT for support.

Do we pay you to join?

Yes. This is a paid internship program. You9re paying for access to the experience, network, and real-world projects that boost your marketability.

Will there be live classes or tutorials?

No. We focus on real-world projects and feedback. You9ll learn by doing.

Can I switch tracks later?

No. You must choose carefully at the beginning. You can take more than one track, but only if you9re sure you can commit to both.

What happens if I miss tasks?

You won9t be kicked out, but your score will drop. That lowers your visibility to recruiters.

How long is the internship?

8 weeks. It requires weekly presence and input. Think of it as a job you take seriously.

Is mentorship included?

Yes. You9ll have access to mentors throughout the program.

Is this open only to HiiT alumni?

No. Anyone who meets the criteria and can show proof of skill can join.
