Margaret Amodu is a trained radio broadcast producer and development professional contributing to the building of bridges for the promotion of peaceful coexistence between diverse groups in her community.

She has volunteered with several organizations such as TEENSCANCODE, DUBAWANIGERIA, YCSNigeria, CYON in promoting better usage of the media especially social media amongst students of all categories within Kaduna and Sokoto state.

She currently works with The Bakhita Initiative (JDPC SOKOTO) a local NGO in Sokoto state as the Gender Social Inclusion and Communications Officer of the organization and also works as a volunteer staff with The Mandate Health Empowerment Initiative (MHEI) in promoting mental health awareness and support in Nigeria.

Her goal and passion includes yet not limited to using her media skills in helping young boys and girls utilize the potentials of the media in preventing conflict and building peace.

She enjoys travelling and learning about new cultures and people.
